Al sinds hij kan kruipen is hij gewend om een microfoon of (speelgoed)gitaar in zijn hand te houden en wilde hij het middelpunt zijn van de kinderdisco's op vakantie om de zaal te entertainen. Het was dus niet de vraag óf hij een leven op het podium zou gaan leven, maar of hij ooit nog wel zou stoppen..
De eerste 21 jaar van zijn bestaan geeft hij alles wat hij in zich heeft bij de verschillende grote musicalproducties die hij heeft gespeeld en zijn eigen muziektours die uitverkopen in heel Nederland. Het is vooral in die succesvolle periode dat hij het leven in de studio proeft en verliefd wordt op de magie die ontstaat in deze creatieve ruimtes waar iedereen zich kwetsbaar opstelt. Al zijn hele leven zweeft hij rond van groep naar groep, nergens bijpassende, maar nu heeft hij iets waardoor de juiste mensen naar hem toe komen: muziek.
